Born in Buffalo, NY, Jeff Jourard grew up in Gainesville, Florida where he soaked up the soulful music culture of the South. Later, he relocated to Los Angeles where he reconnected with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers recording their debut album. Then, he moved on to found the band, The Motels, with Martha Davis.
